The Alliance Continuing Care Network (ACCN) is a network of not for profit skilled nursing facilities. The ACCN has continuing care facilities located throughout the Greater New York metropolitan area including Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties. We are expanding our research to include Upstate New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The ACCN developed consumer focused Subacute Patient, Family, Home Care and Adult Day Care Satisfaction survey tools to assist organizations in measuring client satisfaction with services. The ACCN also offers an employee satisfaction survey to evaluate satisfaction among staff.
Research has proven that satisfaction among clients, patients and family members is a strong indicator of quality. As not for profit providers we pride ourselves on the high quality care provided. By implementing satisfaction survey tools targeted to continuing care providers, we are able to document and present meaningful data on how and why we represent quality care providers.
Our survey tools were designed with the unique needs of continuing care providers in mind. Our survey tools have been piloted and tested over the past 8 years and have proven to be valuable, reliable resources for analyzing satisfaction among family members, patients and employees.
| Current ACCN Survey Tools | Timeframe |
| Subacute Patient Satisfaction | Quarterly |
| Family Satisfaction | Annually in January |
| Employee Satisfaction | Annually in September |
| Home Care | Annually in September |
| Adult Day Care | Annually in January |
| Assisted Living | Annually in January |
All of the above survey tools except for the employee satisfaction survey are administered via mail methodology. We send a second mailing in an effort to increase the response rate. The response rate is typically between 30- 50% which is excellent for a mail methodology survey.
The Employee Satisfaction survey is administered at the facility and staff is provided with time on the clock to complete the survey tool. A facilitator is present during survey administration to answer any questions and explain the proper procedure for completing the survey.
The survey analysis is a comprehensive data analysis and provides comparative data to peers in your geographic area. Organizations are able to compare themselves to the aggregate score of their peers. This allows organizations to better target areas requiring improvement and focus your resources.
The comprehensive data analysis includes; Mean Score, Marginals, Background Marginals, Group Statistics, Descriptive Statistics and Pearson Correlations.
